This is Michael La Frenz, navigator for boat #79 Travis Racing. I wanted to thank you for putting on such an incredible event down in Long Beach. My wife and I are so appreciative of your generosity and specifically for the concern that all of your members of your team showed towards our 3-month old daughter Saylor. I was told a mission of AMF's Offshore Racing was to provide a fun, positive atmosphere and grow the interest and participation in offshore racing. Mission accomplished! At the beginning of the season, my wife told me that this would be the last year I would be able to race boats. After Long Beach, she said, "Honey, if this is what all the races will be like, you can race for as long as you want to." |
