Still Got It Navigator

I was born and raised in Los Angeles California , and joined the Naval reserve and then active duty. While on active duty I received and appointment to the United States Naval Academy. I returned to civilian life in 1957, and joined the Los Angeles Police Department in October 1958.

I met my wife Jackie at the swimming pool at the Los Angeles Police Academy and shortly after we married and have had a wonderful 46 years. We have four children; Julie, Kelly, Brian and Jack, and now include nine grandchildren. While raising a family I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Cal State University , LA. I retired from the LAPD Rampart division in 1979.

In 1980 I joined the Los Angeles Community College district and became the Chief of safety and Police at Los Angeles City College. I received a teaching credential and taught police science and related classes at the college.

In 1987 I joined our family real estate company as an agent working for Jackie who happens to be the broker. The nice part is I get time off to go racing.

The fun began in 2003 when my son Brain started as a serious racing career and invited me to join him as a crew member.

In 2004 we met the AMF team in Florida and the MAN. John Haggin's wonderful cast of characters makes the AMF team a cohesive unit. When Haggin suggested the STILL GOT IT boat we (Chief, Johnny B, and myself) got our share of the “hey old man.” So it has now become our responsibility to teach the young lads how to race and win.
