Patricia Begovich was born and raised in Maplewood, New Jersey. She and her husband moved to Bricktown , NJ where their love of offshore racing began. Patricia's husband raced the Sneaky Pete with his brother in The Hennessy Grand Prix and Brass Monkey races back in the 70's. In 1984, she and her family moved to Jupiter, Florida where she continued her involvement in offshore racing as a fan of her son Scott until joining the AMF team as their onsite nurse. Today Patricia not only serves as the team nurse but also the number one fan of her son Scott, Throttleman for the Platinum Princess, and her husband John, Driver and Throttleman of the Still Got It boat. Patricia continues to enjoy a career in nursing at Ahner Health and Medical Center where she has worked for the past twenty-four years. She currently lives in Jupiter, FL with her loving husband of forty-four years, her children and grandchildren.
